Street of the Sighs
There are a lot of legends surrounding the name of this narrow, cobbled street of Portuguese style.  One of them is that it was a passage through where prisoners sentenced to death were taken to the bank of the river to be executed. Another one says that in that street lived the prostitutes of that time. It is also said that as the street is inclined, when the wind blows you can hear whistling similar to sighs.
