First Church
The First Church is placed on Vasconcellos street. It is the oldest in the country, founded in 1680. At the beginning it was a plain house made of straw and mud. Throughout the years it suffered many modifications due to the fact that each war caused partial destruction, which had to be restored what caused the previous structure to be modified, leading, finally, to the present apparence.  Because of this, the different periods in the city history have been reflected in this church.  		First Church
