General Information about Melo

Melo, one of the capitals with more history, from where great values that contributed to the conformation of the nation have been forged, is the centre of a know of routes that allow a fluid and quick communication with all the country, South of Brazil and Argentina by route 26. You can also access Melo by air because a few kilometres form the city, there is one of the best places and most functional airports of the country.

From the historic Capital of more than 50 thousand inhabitants many glorious pages have been written in different fields. General Aparicio Saravia and Juana de Ibarobourou are two clear exponents.
