The city of Fray Bentos is the capital of the State of Río Negro and it is located 9 km from the migration border of the International Bridge on Argentina "Gral.San Martín".
It is an breath-taking city on the gully of the Uruguay river and it enjoys of numerous tourictic attractions based on nature, culture and good infrastructure.
It is a city of around 20,000 hectares and its history relates it to the first exploitations and industrialization of the meat. With the installation of the salting houses that took advantage of the vast number of cattle and the river route of the Uruguay river to relate producing establishments, mainly with Europe, in the XIX Century.
